For the last 20 years I've studied, experienced, and practiced many forms of healing modalities and systems. My love for health and healing has come about through my own lessons with physical limitations and emotional challenges. In my teens I developed chronic back issues and struggled with fatigue and depression. Throughout most of my adult life I continued to  experienced, fatigue, along with chronic health issues, food allergies, environmental sensitivities, and anxiety.
My curiosity for esoteric studies and healing came about in high school when I began reading books on buddhist philosophy, the breathwork practices of Stanislav Grof, the healing tools of Barbara Brennan, Native American Shamanic practices and the universal human experience of altered states of consciousness, which was the focus of my college thesis in Anthropology.
In my early 20’s I developed a love for Yoga, but do to some back pain and health issues I had to stop practicing. My path took me to nutrition and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). I completed a 600 hr training to become a Certified Nutrition Consultant and a 300 hr training in Eastern and Western herbal studies based in TCM theory. I began working for company that made supplements and herbal tinctures for children on the autistic spectrum where I learned about the detox systems of the body and how to support it to help a variety of physical, mental and emotional challenges.

By my late 20's I left that job and turned my focus back to studies, and began on the track towards Acupuncture school. However, the stress of a challenging breakup combined with mold exposure in my living space, triggered chronic health issues and the emotional challenges that come with it, all of which I've approached from multiple angles over the years to heal from.
During my journey I learned about how stress and trauma create holding patterns in the body, both physically and energetically. I discovered the importance of slowly accessing and releasing these patterns through gentle presence, compassionate inquiry, and slow physical release.

In my 30’s I began studying energy work and guided journeys more deeply, along with gentle modalities of Craniosacral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Ancestral Healing, and most recently Trauma Releasing Exercises. I discovered that an integrated approach of both emotional support and guidance, mindfulness and energetic practices, and somatic release through the body is necessary to create healing and lasting change.

In my 30’s I also developed a love for astrology as a means for understanding one’s life path, karmic patterns, and different archetypes and gifts we hold within ourself, not as a definitive or rigid truth, but as playful combination of possibilities. I mainly studied Evolutionary Astrology and felt connected to the concept that through planetary placements, we are connected to the cosmos and something larger than ourselves. I wrote a blog fro 3 years, interpreting current astrological placements, or transits, and gave many readings as well.

I also began studying more deeply energy work and guided journeys, along with the gentle modalities of Craniosacral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Ancestral Healing, Mantra practices, Meditation, Jade Egg and Tantra practices, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and most recently Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE).

TRE helped me release anxiety and nervous system overwhelm more deeply and more quickly than any other modality I had done. After years of feeling scattered and unfocused, I finally began to feel more coherent, confident, and level in my emotions.

I discovered that an integrated approach of both emotional support and guidance, mindfulness and energetic practices, somatic release through the body, and nutritional and dietary support, is necessary to create healing and lasting change. I have also spend years learning and experimenting with supplements and diets, trying to heal various sensitivities, immune and gut issues. Through lots of research and trial and error, I finally found a much needed breakthrough in my health through the use of glandular supplements.

My passion lies with helping others regain health and find freedom in their life and in their bodies offering the tools and experience I have. My current focus is on incorporating T.R.E with compassionate inquiry and embodiment practices including Craniosacral Therapy, which help merge gentle physical resolution with mindfull and body centered awareness of our thoughts and unconscious patterns. My current mantra is “Start where you’re at.” With the many setbacks I’ve had over the years due to health challenges, I’ve had to learn deep surrender and patience to the unfolding of life.
